RICE, Doris M. 84 of Franklin passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 28th. She was born on November 6, 1932 in Greensboro, NC to Charlie Franklin & Mary Belle (Baker) McDaniel. Doris worked for 30 years for Water Refining/Echo Water and most recently for Kohl's for 7 years. She loved to travel and visit lighthouses, loved flowers and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Larry D. Rice; her 4 daughters, Deborah (Richard) Pelletier Jr., Judy Kaye Rice, Kathy (Bryan) Shoup Sr. and Donna Ruth Rice; her 5 grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Angie, Samantha and Bryan Jr.; her 5 great-grandchildren, Shawn, Kilie, Aidin, Adysen and Raelynn Marie; her step-mother, Arlene Priore and half-sisters, Bonnie Taylor and Linda Ballard. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 31st from 6-8:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown OH 45005 with a Celebration of Life Service also at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 1st at 11:00 am with Dan Flory, Celebrant officiating.
