Doris Wines RACINE – Doris (nee: Boen) Wines, 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Harmony of Racine. She was born on October 28, 1924 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ira and Elizabeth (nee: Underwood) Boen. On February 8, 1946 Doris was united in marriage to Carroll ‘Bud’ Wines in Danville, IL. She was employed at Boston Store in Racine for a few years. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Tom Bonfiglio of Fairview, TX; grandchildren, Megan and her husband Okunola Jeyifous of Chicago, IL, Joseph Godsil of Milwaukee, WI, Brydie Godsil of New Orleans, LA, Eliza Wines of Nashville, TN, Keller Wines of Greer, SC, Katie Wines of Jacksonville, FL, daughter-in-law, Nancy Wines of Jacksonville, FL and son-in-law, James Godsil of Milwaukee, WI. Doris is further survived by her partner of 25 years, Keith Kreuscher, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll ‘Bud’ in 1986, son, Gary Wines, daughter, Judy Wines Godsil, brothers, Ray, Roy, Paul, Short, Ernest and sister, Edna Miller. Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Doris will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI on Friday at 12:30 p.m., please meet at cemetery entrance.
