Dorla Jeanne MauleDorla Jeanne Maule, 87, of Stillwater, OK, died January 3, 2017 in Springfield, MO. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2 P.M., at the First Baptist Church, 701 S. Duncan St., Stillwater, with Dr. Tim Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6500 S. Perkins Road, Stillwater.Dorla ("Dee") was born on December 19, 1929 in Bokoshe, OK, to Richard L. and Verna P. Wright. After graduating from Arkadelphia High School, she attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. She continued her education at Minot State Teachers College in Minot, ND and finished with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Henderson State College on May 24, 1968. She married Charles G. Maule on June 10, 1949 in Arkadelphia, AR. He preceded her in death in June of 1999.Dee worked at Oklahoma State University and retired from the College of Chemical Engineering in 1994 as Head Administrative Assistant to the Dean. Her most recent activities included cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, while convalescing in Springfield, MO, at the Lakewood Assisted Living Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stillwater, OK. She loved attending Oklahoma State University games in all sports: football, basketball, baseball and softball. She was also a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan and watched every game in 2016. Dee joins her parents and husband in heaven.She is survived by two sons, Charles Richard Maule and wife Debra of Austin, TX; and Michael Lewis Maule and wife Valdena of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Charles Stephen Maule and wife Bryn of Houston, TX; David Hollis Maule and wife Elisa of Jonesborough, TN; April Denise Hemlock and husband Mathew of Belmont, MI; Michael Thoren Maule and wife Jenna of Columbia, MO; and Elizabeth Jeanne Maule and fiancé David Mitchell of Paragould, AR; great-grandchildren,; Ryder James Hemlock, Drake Charles Hemlock, Elizabeth Sage Hemlock; Lillian Mae Maule, and Gavin Lewis Maule; Gabrielle Naomi Maule; sister-in-law Gay (Maule) Marbury and husband Ralph of Marshall, TX; and cousin William G.
