On May 20, 2024, the world lost a bright light with the passing of Dorothy Walker, who was born on December 21, 1945 in Decatur, Georgia. Dorothy was a beloved member of the community, known for her warm smile and kind heart.

Dorothy lived a full and vibrant life, raising two wonderful children, Eric Walker and Maurice Walker, and welcoming five adoring grandchildren into her life. She was a dedicated parent and grandparent, always putting her family first.

Dorothy was a proud graduate of Dekalb County High School, where she made lifelong friends and cherished memories. In her free time, she loved to bake delicious treats for her loved ones, sharing her passion for cooking with everyone she knew.

Although Dorothy may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will never be forgotten.
