Franke, Dorothy A.Dorothy Ann Franke, 92, formerly of Oakfield, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017, at the Liberty House where she resided for the past two years.She was born on February 1, 1925 in Oakfield, one of nine children to Harvey & Edna Knoll Thill. She married Oscar Franke on April 27, 1946 in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1975.Dorothy worked on the farm until 1967 when they moved to Oakfield. She then worked at Lopez Shoe Store, Mammouth Springs Canning Factory and Bovee's Bar. Dorothy was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Oakfield. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, attending her grandson's sporting events and spending time with her family.She is survived by her son: Richard (Julie) Franke of Oakfield; grandsons: Ryan and Tyler Franke of Oakfield; her sister: Judy (Ray) Ballwanz of Oshkosh; sister in laws: Mary Jane Thill of Fond du Lac, Barb Thill of Oshkosh, Maxine Franke of Farmersville and Ona Mae Thill of Fond du Lac, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers: Larry Thill, Robert (Lorraine) Thill, Raymond Thill, Eugene Thill, William Thill; her sisters: Rose (Forrest) Pixley and Ruth Rausch; brother in laws: Herbert (Ethel) Franke, Melvin (Anna) Franke, Alfonse (Erna) Franke, Raymond Franke, Rollie (Neva) Franke, Lester Franke and Elmer (Elenora) Franke; sister in laws: Dayla (George) Suprenand, Hilda (Erv) Miller, Margie (Clarence) Abby, Lucinda (Emil) Wiese, Lillian (Arthur) Kollman and Leona (Elmer) Schaumberg.VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, from 11:00 - 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Ev. Lutheran Church, 245 South Second Street, Oakfield.FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Ev. Lutheran Church, with Rev.
