Dorothy E. Bahe, 91Sauk RapidsAug. 2, 1926 - Sept. 22, 2017Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home chapel for Dorothy E. (Stricker) Bahe, who passed away on Friday. Rev. Keith Weise will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Interment will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Sauk Rapids following the reception.Dorothy was born on August 2, 1926 in Rice, MN to Emanuel and Ella Stricker. She graduated from Technical High School in 1944. Dorothy married Maurice "Bud" Bahe in 1946, and to this union six children were born. Dorothy was employed by Holes Webway for many years, and later worked at Fingerhut. Dorothy and Maurice walked proudly in their faith and were active members at Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.Dorothy is survived by her children, Linda (Laurence) Schoonover of Bloomington, Bonita (Wayne) Mount of Pen Argyle, PA, Nancy David of Woodbury, Judy Lucas (Joseph Petersen) of Owatonna, and Janet (Dean) Carlson of Brooklyn Park; daughter-in-law, Cham Chaipikoon (Bahe); siblings, Joyce (Robert) Hensel of Clear Lake, and James (Betty) Stricker of Brandon; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maurice Bahe; brothers, Arnold and Donald Stricker; and her son, William "Bill" Bahe.
