STARLING Dorothy Lee Dot Starling, age 74, passed away on December 3, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on March 10, 1942 in Wilmington, NC to Norris and Pearl Henry. Dorothy has spent most of her life in Jacksonville, FL. She retired as a Store Manager with the Kangaroo Corp. She was a member of the Hunter Park Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Dorothy was predeceased by two sons, David and Timothy Sanders. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Merrill L. Starling, one daughter Felicia Ann Sanders of Jacksonville, FL, two brothers, Wilbur Henry and Glen Henry, and one sister Mary Jane Sturdivant, three grandsons, one granddaughter and for great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 10 am until 12 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon, in the Chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS GREENLAWN FUNERAL HOME, 4300 Beach Blvd, Bro.
