Dorothy Mae Timm Dorothy Mae Timm, 89, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at St. Anthony Health Care.She was born on January 2, 1928 in Lafayette to the late Elmer J. and Mary E. (Steill) Brown. Dorothy graduated from St. Francis High School in 1946. On November 22, 1947 she married William M. Timm in Lafayette at St. Boniface Church. Dorothy worked for GTE as a telephone operator for over 35 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral where she was active in the Rosary Altar Society. Dorothy was also a member of the Euchre Club and the Live Wires. She enjoyed gardening, traveling especially to Disney World, and riding motorcycles. Dorothy loved spending time with her daughters and family. Surviving are her husband, William M. Timm of Lafayette; her daughters, Margaret "Peggy" (Larry) Rudder, Debra (Steve-deceased) Stone, Trudi (Homer) Williams, Kathleen "Kathy" (Brian) Roark, Melissa "Missy" (Jimmy) Pitts, and Melinda "Mindi" (Brian) Hill, all of Lafayette; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Stone, Nicholas Rudder, Amy Kingma, Jake Roark, and Sarah Williams; and 6 great grandchildren, Russell Kingma, Alexa, Tayler, and Tanner Hutson, and Harrison and George Stone. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Brown and a sister, Marilou Hauser. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16th at Fisher Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 17th at St. Mary's Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. with Father Borawski officiating. Entombment will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Garden. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Cathedral or National Parkinson's Foundation in loving memory of Dorothy.
