Bush, Dorothy P. CLIFTON PARK Dorothy P. Bush, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2016. Dorothy was born on March 3, 1933. She worked for New York Telephone Company and retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church where she was actively involved and donated her afghans as part of her service to God. She was a devoted grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Dorothy was a wonderful gardener, loved knitting and sewing. She also made many contributions to the Head Start program. Dorothy was a longtime member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192 Ladies Auxiliary. She never missed her daily coffee dates with her friends in Halfmoon. She will be deeply missed. Dorothy is survived by her children, Carrie Jane Bush, William (Kimberly Morey) Bush, George L. (Patty Romano) Bush Jr., Todd (Bridget) Bush and Patrick Bush; her grandchildren, Angela Fagg, Stephen William, Anthony Fagg, Michael Morey, Tyler Morey, Justin Bush, Adam Bush, Nicole (Nick) Rogers, Jordan Bush, Courtney Bush; and her great-grandchildren, Jordan, Alexus Adriana and Keenan Morey. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, George L. Bush Sr. A memorial service for Dorothy will be held on Friday, November 11, at 11 a.m. at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 1593 Crescent Road, Clifton Park, with Reverend Gary Kluball, Pastor officiating. Calling hours will be held at church from 10-11 a.m. prior to the memorial service. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's.
