Dorothy H. Reck1922 - 2015Dorothy H. Reck, 92, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.She was born on Sept. 17, 1922, in the Town of Somers to the late Theodore and Martha (Rackow) Dreger. She was educated in local Kenosha Schools. After schooling she worked for Doctor Wolf as a nanny, and housekeeper. Later she worked for Nash and Coopers/Jockey. Dorothy married Benjamin Reck on June 3, 1943 in Kenosha. He died March 7, 1983. Dorothy enjoyed reading, mysteries, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She belonged to the Secret Pals Club and the Ladies Aid for Friedens Lutheran Church. Dorothy enjoyed gardening and her flowers.Dorothy is survived by her son, Darrel (Susan) Reck of Kenosha; two granddaughters; and five great grandchildren; siblings, Lila (Gene) Mutchler, Garret (Viola) Dreger and Elliot (Molly) Dreger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin, a brother, Leon, and a sister, Helen.Visitation will be Tuesday May 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at Friedens Lutheran Church, 5038-19th Avenue, with Funeral Services to follow at 12 noon.
