PARRY, Dorothy Stella Mary Dorothy died peacefully on October 21, 2016 in Victoria, British Columbia with her daughter by her side. She was 88.Dorothy was born on June 25, 1928 in Harare, Zimbabwe (formerly Salisbury, Rhodesia) to her parents, Sydney and Mary Shaw. She has been in Canada since 1971.Dorothy will be remembered for her quick wit, determination and sense of humour. She touched the lives of many over the years and will be sadly missed. Dorothy is survived by: her daughter, Brenda Gail Wyn (Peter) and son(s): Bryan (Melody), Robert Langton (Bernice), Kevin (Cheryl). She is predeceased by: her husband, David Wyn, son(s), Graham and Martin Wilkinson, sister Sheila Krog and brothers Leslie and Dennis Shaw. She also leaves behind many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and two sisters, Margaret and Patsy.Heartfelt thanks to her numerous caregivers and supporters over the years at Jesken Aerie, Glenwarren Lodge and especially, Dr. Susan Matthews, for their devoted care and attention.A Celebration of Dorothy's life will take place on November 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, 4030 Douglas Street, Victoria BC.
