Viergutz, DorothyDorothy Marie Viergutz, age 92, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Three Oaks Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Pastor Daryn Bahn and Pastor Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the service time at church on Friday. Hansen-Schilling funeral home is assisting the family.Dorothy was born on December 18, 1924 in Milan, Wisconsin to Adolph and Bertha (Langner) Mundt. She received her education in Stetsonville schools. On June 3, 1944, she married Walter J. Viergutz at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville, WI. After her education, she worked for her father as a secretary at his auto dealership. They moved to Marshfield in 1942 and she then was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory until her marriage. She then helped her husband in the operation of the family farm. Dorothy enjoyed her flowers, gardening, music, dancing and was an avid card player. She is survived by her children, Judy K. (Frank) Kuntz, of Minneapolis, MN; Diane L. (Ronald) Doine, of Hewitt; Karen M. (Randal) Noeldner of Eau Claire; and Jim B. (Beatrice) Viergutz, of Marshfield; six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, Brian Wright, two sisters, and one brother.
