RACINE - Dorothy (nee: Noe) Warner, 89, passed away at Wisconsin Veterans Home, Union Grove on Saturday November 19, 2011 with her daughter Jane by her side. Dorothy was born on August 3, 1922, she was the adopted daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Noe. She attended St. Catherine's High School and graduated from Beauty School of Milwaukee. Dorothy was employed as a hairdresser in Racine for many years. She was united in marriage to Gerald Warner on July 8, 1944 in the Parish House of St. Rose Church. Dorothy enjoyed ceramics, was known by many as an outstanding cook and homemaker, she was a serious Scrabble player and was truly the "Hostess with the Mostess". Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Jane M. Aiello, son John W. (Nancy) Warner all of Racine, seven grandchildren, Julie (Gregory) Boone of Racine, Jennifer (Scott) Melson of Tennessee, Joseph (Blanca) Aiello of Minnesota, Jonathan Aiello of Racine, Gina Garcia of Florida, Carissa (Micah) Metzger and Jessica (Nicholas) Keene of Indiana She is also survived by four step grandchildren, Kyle (Mandie) Andersen, Michael Andersen and Nathan (Melissa Bazan) Andersen all of Racine, and Nichole (Paul) Monskey of Minnesota, seven great- grandchildren, and eight step- great grandchildren. Dorothy is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald on April 15, 2010, children, Susan Elizabeth and Scott David, son-in-law, James Aiello on December 3, 2010, and three sisters, Margaret Poulson, Anna Noe, and Laura Porter. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. with longtime family friend Rev. Jeffrey Butler officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private ceremony at West Lawn Memorial Park.
