It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Dorthy Jones, who was born on March 17, 1965, in Sacramento, California, United States. She peacefully departed this world on May 20, 2024.

Dorthy was the daughter of Micheal Jones and Mary Coxs. She was a loving wife to Brandon Jones, whom she married in the year 17. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Lache Jones and Maiesha Jones. Dorthy was also a proud grandmother to two grandchildren.

She attended Saint Mary’s High School and later went on to work at Cook, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2010. Dorthy had a passion for sports, reading, and writing, which brought her immense joy throughout her life.

Dorthy Jones will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
