We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Doug Posey, who was born on October 3, 1981, in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Doug passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 44.

Doug was the beloved son of William and Mary Posey. He is survived by his son, Zechariah Harden-Posey. Zechariah studied at Independence High School and graduated in 1998. He went on to continue his studies at Arizona State University, graduating in 2021.

Doug had a passion for baseball and spent countless hours playing and watching games. He will be remembered for his love of the sport and the joy it brought him.

On December 1, 2025, Doug suffered a fatal heart attack, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
