Hahn, Douglas E.Douglas E. Hahn Age 44, of Spencer, passed away unexpectedly at his residence early in the morning on Monday, January 9, 2017.His funeral service will be held at 4PM on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer. Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. A committal service will take place at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday at the funeral home from 12noon until time of services.Doug was born on February 20, 1972 in Wausau, the son of Edward and Donna (Deering) Hahn. He attended and later graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in June of 1991. After high school Doug enrolled in North Central Technical College and attained his journeyman status in masonry. He worked as a mason for McGivern Masonry from 1993 until 2003. On September 23, 1995, he married his best friend Patricia Dahl at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. From 2003 until the present Doug was employed at Land O Lakes in Spencer.His hobbies included hunting and fishing with his son Chad, getting out on the open road on his motorcycles, off-roading on his Polaris Razor and camping up at Solberg Lake in Phillips with his family. Doug loved the outdoors and spending time with his family in the great outdoors.Survivors include his wife Patricia Hahn of Spencer; his son Chad Hahn of Spencer; his mother Donna Hahn of Spencer; a sister Deanna (Eric) Serrano of Chaska, MN; his mother-in-law Irene Dahl of Granton; his in-law's: Judith (Eugene) Walter of Granton, Gary (Marjorie) Dahl of Granton, William (Sue) Dahl of Coloma, Nancy (Michael) Luchterhand of Loyal. Doug is further survived by his close friend Ryan (Mary Phillippi) Berendes of Marshfield along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his father Edward and his father-in-law Erlin Dahl.In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorials in Doug's name for a charity to be determined later.Arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.
