It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Jacobs, who passed away on June 4, 2024 in Jackson, Mississippi, United States. He was born on July 23, 1958.

Douglas, also known as Duck, was the beloved son of Melvin Jacobs Sr and Mae Bell Jacobs. He is survived by his two children, DaQuiz Jacobs and Sam, as well as four grandchildren.

Duck was known for his dedication to his work at Upholstery, where he poured his heart and soul into his craft. In his free time, he loved singing in the church choir with his sisters and brothers, showcasing his beautiful voice to all who would listen.

One of Duck's greatest joys was dancing the night away and spending quality time with his family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Though Duck may have passed on, his spirit and love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
