We are saddened to announce the passing of Douglas Gaskins, of Louisville, Kentucky. Doug was born on August 10, 1962 to John and Roberta Gaskins.

He is survived by his loving wife Kimberly Gaskins, whom he married in 1985. Together they had one son, Conner Gaskins. Douglas attended Taylor County High School and graduated in 1980 before continuing his education at Campbellsville University, where he graduated in 1984. Douglas currently works at Big Lots.

Doug was known for his sense of humor and love of sports. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and collecting memorabilia.

Although Doug may have left us too soon, we take solace in knowing that he is now reunited with his parents and loved ones who have passed before him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Doug's memory.

Rest in peace, Doug. You will be missed but never forgotten.
