ALLENTOWN, PA-Douglas John Thiele, 48, formerly of Allentown, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born and raised in Scranton, Pa., and then Allentown for the last 19 years. Mr Thiele worked many professions over his lifetime, among his favorite was working with tools and in mechanics. Mr Thiele enjoyed spending time outdoors as well at his grandmothers house on the New Jersey shore. Mr Thiele was predeceased by his father John H. Thiele III, his grandparents John H. Thiele II, Linda Thiele, Anita Hilbig, and Julius Hilbig of Toms River NJ. Mr Thiele is survived by his son Eric Douglas Thiele of Kingston, his brothers Gregory J. Thiele, Christopher P. Thiele, and his mother Susan Thiele all of Allentown. Services are currently pending and being arranged by immediate family members.
