Doyle E. Dodson, 82Cookeville, TN - Doyle E. Dodson, 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 4, 2017, at his home in Cookeville, Tn. He was born on March 28, 1934, in Byrdstown, Tennessee the son of Orville and Pearl (McDonald) Dodson.After schooling, Doyle became a truck driver for the Teamsters. He spent 30 years driving trucks until his retirement. Doyle enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, woodworking and family history.Left to mourn the loss of Doyle are his sister Willa Boaz, sons Steve (Lynn wife) Dodson, Dan (Teresa Wife), 6 Maternal grandchildren, Darion, Sydney, Bradon, Levi, Matrix, and Legacy. 1 adopted granddaughter Faith. Two step grandchildren Remington and Maverick.Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and the love of his life wife Charlotte Patricia Dodson. Doyle and Pat were married for 47 years before her passing and they enjoyed traveling, crafts and spending time together.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Steve Graves officiating.
