Dr. Ubgo Mallam, beloved Denton resident, passed away on July 25, 2024, ten days after celebrating his 81st birthday.

Dr. Mallam was known throughout the community for his quirky sense of humor and passion for life. Despite his impressive career as a renowned scientist, he never took himself too seriously and could always be found cracking jokes and bringing smiles to those around him.

He enjoyed spending his free time tending to his impressive collection of exotic plants and was known for throwing legendary backyard barbecues that brought friends and neighbors together.

Without any children of his own, Dr. Mallam was a beloved figure in the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Dr. Mallam, may your jokes continue to bring laughter to the heavens above.
