Duane Michael Brown, 54, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016. He is preceded in death by parents Herbert Duane Brown, and Nellie Brown.  He is survived by brothers; Edward Brown Sr. and Curtis Brown; 4 nephews and 6 nieces .

Duane was born on July 22, 1962 in Plaquemine, Louisiana. He graduated from Plaqumine High School in 1980 where his trouble making days began. Duane proved consistently that he was not a man who would give up. Those who knew him adored him for his larger-than-life capacity to love. There was not a single person who's life he failed to change after knowing them.

Duane went on to receive a Masters degree from Southern University in Psychology in 1984. Later in life he found the love of his life Rhonda Brown and  they married in 1989. He leaves no children, but he loved each and every niece and nephew as his own. Duane will be truly missed by one and all.
