Block, Duelle R.FOX LAKE--Duelle R. Block age 27, died on Thursday, June 1, 2017 as a result of a workplace industrial accident in Cambria. Duelle was born on May 30, 1990 in Tarzana, California to William and Linda (Jorgensen) Block Jr. He was a 2008 graduate of Bowman High School in Valencia, California where he continued his love of playing Lacrosse since the 7th grade. He later coached Lacrosse at Saugus High School in Saugus, CA. Duelle attended the College of the Canyons in Valencia before moving to Wisconsin. He was currently employed for the Didion company in Cambria. Duelle loved the outdoors, especially fishing with family and friends. He was currently growing his hair out to donate for cancer survivors. Survivors include the love of his life Alexandria "Alex" Green of Fox Lake; his daughter Porter Jorgensen Block; his father William F. Block Jr. of Glenwood City; his mother Linda Jorgensen Block of Wylie TX; his brother Hunter Block of Valencia CA; paternal grandmother Marlene Kasper Soulsburg of Columbus; maternal grandparents Heidi and Kjell Jorgensen of Palmdale CA; two aunts Cheryl Block of Las Vegas and Cindy (Ara) Hartoonian of Northridge CA; two uncles Robert (Martina) Block of Miramar FL and Sean Jorgensen of Palmdale; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents Elmer and Nelda Kasper and William and Ann Block; maternal great grandparents John and Margareth Jorgensen and Helena Giske. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M., with visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M., on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at ST. JEROME CATHOLIC CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Steve Kortendick will officiate.
