We are saddened to announce the passing of Dwayne Johnson, who left us on April 21, 2025, in his home in Telfair Woods, Georgia. Born on March 21, 1967, Dwayne was the beloved son of Thomas and Bearline Johnson.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Justine Lawrence Johnson, whom he married in year 35. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Lavontae and Dwayne Jr. Dwayne was also a proud grandfather to two grandchildren.

Dwayne attended Telfair County High School and graduated in 1987. He went on to work at Telfair Board Of Commission, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2025.

Known for his love of fishing, basketball, and wrestling, Dwayne lived life to the fullest and brought joy to all who knew him. His laughter was infectious, and his smile lit up any room.

Despite battling cancer, Dwayne faced each day with courage and grace. His strength and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew him.

While we mourn the loss of Dwayne Johnson, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, dear friend.
