Riggle, Dwight Douglas, Sr.,65, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017. He was born on November 12, 1951 to Robert Edward and Wanda Louden Riggle. He retired from the United States Air force and also from Jefferson County as Director of Public Works. Dwight was President of the Middletown Chamber of Commerce, past V.F.W. Commander Middletown Post # 1170, past Commander V.F.W. District 6, and past board member of the Kentucky Derby Festival.He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Robert Keith Riggle, Sr.Dwight is survived by his children, Jennifer Riggle Cahill, Dwight Douglas Riggle, Jr., step daughters, Amanda Newman (Jeremy), Tiffany Wilkerson (Brandon); mother, Wanda Louden Riggle; sister Brenda Gilliland and seven grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville. Burial will follow at Middletown Historic Cemetery.
