METCALF, Earl E. Age 87 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2016. He was born on April 14, 1929 in Hamilton to Robert Metclf and Almeda Cole. Earl was a member of the American Legion, Eagles, Amvets, and the
VFW. He served in the United States Army in Korea from 1951 to 1953. Earl was an accomplished musician, he loved to play bluegrass. He owned Johns-Metclf, where he repaired office machines for 35 years, before retiring in 1989. Earl then owned and managed his own bike repair business in Hamilton for 20 years. In his spare time, Earl liked to watch television, work on bicycles, visit yard sales, and take his daughter out to eat. He never knew a stranger, he talked to everyone he met. Earl always had a joke to tell. He is survived by his daughter Karen; granddaughter Renee; loyal pet Amy; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters Marjorie and Beulah, and two brothers Turner and Paul. Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jacob Flannery officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at
