Although Earnest had no children of his own, he was a doting uncle to his nieces and nephews, spoiling them with love and presents whenever he had the chance.

By day, Earnest was a dedicated carpenter, building and repairing with precision and skill. By night, he could be found on the golf course or by the lake, casting his line and hoping for the biggest catch of the day.

Earnest's sense of humor was unmatched, always quick with a joke or a funny story to lift the spirits of those around him. His infectious laugh will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
