It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eddy Gonzalez, who was born on 06/04/1962 and passed away on 11/13/2025 at 11:27pm in Springfield, Ohio.

Eddy was a beloved husband to Susan Gonzalez, married for 40 years. Together, they raised two children: Shanae Watkins with spouse Brad Watkins, and Summer Powell with spouse Anthony Powell. Eddy was also a proud grandparent to four grandchildren.

Eddy worked diligently in the construction industry throughout his career, eventually retiring in 2020. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with his grandsons Zachary Arnett, Joe Arnett and Jordan Powell. Finding peace and solace by the water.

Unfortunately, Eddy's life was cut short by lung cancer. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
