Eddy George Esquibel, 55, of Loveland, Colo., passed away on Monday Sept. 3, 2012 at the VA Center in Cheyenne, Wyo.Eddy was born on Jan. 11, 1957 in Las Vegas to Mariano and Marcelina (Roybal) Esquibel. He grew up in Las Vegas where he attended high school and later enlisted in the Army to serve our country. Eddy later moved to Greeley, Colo., where he worked numerous jobs and finally retiring from Wal-Mart Distribution Center. Eddy enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and all of his family. He loved fishing, was an avid Broncos fan, and liked going to the casinos. He was a kind-hearted man, he loved life and making people laugh with his jokes. He will truly be missed. Eddy is survived by his wife, Janie Moncivias of Loveland, Colo.; his two children, Georgette Esquibel (Frank Salinas) of Las Vegas, and Jeff Esquibel (Phebe Gutierrez) of Sapello; his mother, Marcelina Esquibel of Las Vegas; three brothers, Tony (Carla) Esquibel of Greeley, Colo., Robert (Becky) Esquibel of Las Vegas, Louie (Karen) Esquibel of Greeley, Colo.; two sisters, Rita Coca and Adolfo Coca of Amarillo, Texas, Lorraine (Freddie) Fuentes of Amarillo, Texas, seven grandchildren, Courtney, Saija, Brittney, Jeffery Jr., Ezekiel, Yesenia, Janae of New Mexico and numerous family members in New Mexico, Texas and Colorado.Eddy is preceded in death by his father, Mariano Esquibel; and two nephews, Peter and Erik Esquibel.Services were held in Greeley, Colo. Internment was at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
