Edith Barbara Herron, 78Edie Barb, as she was known by many, passed away at 7:58 a.m. on June 1, 2017 at Skyline Alive Hospice in Madison, TN from complications of COPD and Emphysema.She was born on December 25, 1938 in Armstrong, Ill. She graduated from Richland High School in 1957, married Jack Herron on June 1, 1958 and later divorced. She lived most of her life in Fountain County where she worked at RR Donnelley and as a hairstylist. She was an organist at Community Bible Church in Veedersburg.She moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1977 where she worked in the restaurant industry and then later moved to Nashville, TN. She loved country music and the Gaithers and was an avid NBA, PBA, and NASCAR "Jimmie Johnson" fan.She is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Marie and Lankford Andy Ingalsbe, sisters Martha Ingalsbe and Hazel Clift, brother Van (Bud) Ingalsbe . She is survived by sisters JoAnn Herron (Charles deceased) and Dorothy Mitton (Jim), both of Waynetown and brother Gerald Ingalsbe (Darleen) of Pittsburg, PA. 2 sons, Kevin (Cathy) Springfield, MO and Kurt Nashville, TN, Grandchildren Kris and Clarissa, Great Grandchildren Chloe, Jericho, Abram, and Eleanor.She donated her body for medical research to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. A memorial service will be held in Indiana at a later date.
