Edith V. Brischler, 93, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in Yuma. She was born on February 20, 1916 in New York City, New York. Edith was a strong and brave woman who lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed singing and entertaining people and making them laugh with her quick wit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved her. What an AMAZING WOMAN! Edith is survived by her daughter, Joan Simons of Yuma; son, George Brischler of Sparrowbush, New York; granddaughter, Carol Uden of Yuma; one additional grandchild, and three great-grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Brischler; mother, Leonore Lowther; granddaughter, Naney Fox; and sister, Grace Nagy.
