Edith Brown, age 86, passed away on September 12, 2024 in her home in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. She was born on June 7, 1938 to Gene and Polly Vanhoose.

She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, John Brown, whom she married in 1953. Together, they raised four children: Melody Brown Conley, Karen Vanhoose, Tammy Brown, and Ronald Brown.

Edith was a devoted mother and grandmother, leaving behind 10 grandchildren to cherish her memory.

She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer, showing incredible strength and resilience throughout her journey.

Edith will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kindness towards others, and her infectious laughter. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
