Edmond Ray Edwards, 80, of Magnolia, Ky., was born on Oct. 9, 1933. He passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at his home. Mr. Edwards was a custom home builder retiring after 40 years of building. He was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church, and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Stella Jaggers Edwards; and a sister, Dorothy Casselman. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Edwards; a daughter, Martha (Steve) Smith of Magnolia; two grandsons, Brian (Tabi) Smith of Magnolia and Michael (Rachel) Smith of Lexington; two great-granddaughters, Mallory Smith and Molly Smith; two brothers, J.K. (Peggy) Edwards of Hodgenville and Aaron "Duckie" (Joyce) Edwards of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral is 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with the Rev. Chuck Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
