Theys, age 82, formerly of Whitelaw, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Care Partners, Kiel.Edna was born on August 21, 1932 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Clarence and Agnes (DeGroot) Olsen. Edna was married to John Theys on May 3, 1958 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1980. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville, past president of the Rosary Society and past member of the Homemakers Club. Edna enjoyed crafts (plastic canvas) and spending time with her grandchildren.Survivors include her 6 children: John (Sabine) Theys Jr., Oshkosh; Jerome (Susan) Theys, Cato; Paul (Sharon) Theys, Green Bay; Beth (Kevin) Koch, Valders; Steven (Kay) Theys, Valders; Russell (Juvy) Theys, Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren: Joshua Theys; Josie Theys, Oshkosh; Alex Theys, Oshkosh; Christopher Theys, Cato; Nicholas (Alicia) Theys, Mishicot; Andrew Theys, Green Bay; Heather (Eric) Machia, Two Rivers; Stephanie Troullier, Madison; Breanna Wiensch, Manitowoc; Jonathan Theys, Valders; Alyssa Theys, Valders; Megan Theys, Valders, Jacob Theys, Valders; Jessie Theys, Manitowoc; Christian Theys, Manitowoc; 5 great grandchildren: 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-laws: Doris Noel, MI; Judith (Frank) Frankart, Neenah; 2 brothers and one sister-in-law: Robert (Barbara) Olsen, Stevens Point; Roger Olsen, Green Bay, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clarence and Agnes Olsen; her husband: John Theys; 2 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law: Enid (Norbert) Jackels; Joan (Andre) Shedeger; John Noel; 3 brothers: Eugene, Leroy and Glen Olsen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 522 Tower Avenue, Kellnersville. Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Allouez Cemetery, Green Bay. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
