Edna Jean Clark, 77, of Vilonia passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on October 30, 1939 in Conway, Arkansas to Otis and Catherine Hoffman Higgins. She was retired from AmTran in Conway, Arkansas and she was a homemaker. She spent her retirement years caring for her family, working in her garden, attending church and community singings and functions and for the last seven years of her life, spending as much time as she could with the light of her life, her great-granddaughter, Jaci Livingston, who she loved to the moon and back. Edna was a lifelong member of the Mt. Carmel Church in Vilonia. She loved her church and her church family very much.She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jimmy and Victor Higgins. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Melton Clark of Vilonia; her daughter, Darlene (Merrelle) Conner of Conway; two brothers, Gordon Higgins of Vilonia and Harold Higgins of Springdale; her grandson, Jason (Kira) Livingston of Vilonia and her great-granddaughter, Jaci Riley Livingston of Vilonia and a host of nieces and nephews. Family visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Mt. Carmel Church, 349 Hwy. 107 S. in Vilonia. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Church. Rev. Eddie Campbell, Rev. Carey Chrisco and Rev. Howard Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Kenny Clark, Kimmy Manning, Virgil Benton, Jerry Cartwright, Jack Wylie and Jason Livingston.Memorials can be made to the Mt.
