Edna Leona Sanders, 95, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed on February 13, 2022. Edna was born on November 08, 1926.

Edna attended and graduated from Florida Arigucutural & Mechanical Univerity Florida A&M University with a BS in Business Administration

Edna was a member of Faith Church West Palm Beach and often visited New Faith Ministry

Edna was united in marriage to the late George Sanders on March 9, 1946, in a marriage that lasted 30 years. This union was blessed with three boys and 1 girl and she later had 1 more girl and two boys.

"Mrs. Old lady" as most of the kids called her was a wife, mother grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother sister, and friend.

Being the backbone of 5 generations she took great pride and all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Our fondest memory of mama was her ritual of getting up early in the morning and turning on gospel music. On Sunday, February 13 at 4 PM the angels came and sealed the lips of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister.

Proceeding her death she left her eldest son George Sanders Jr, Adrian Sanders, Jermaine Sanders, daughter Beverly Sanders, daughter Vannessa Highbaugh, Liam Highbaugh, and Paul Highbaugh. Her siblings are two girls Janience Olow, Kristie Mims, and 3 brothers Joseph, Mike, and Noah Collins

She leaves her family to cherish memories. She loved all 32 of her grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A host of sorrowing nieces and nephews cousins loving family members and friends.
