Edna M. Frost DouglasRed BankEdna M. Frost Douglas, of Red Bank, NJ, died on October 24, 2017, at home. She was born on February 29, 1929, to Frederick and Adelia Frost in Holmdel. NJ. Edna attended Colts Neck Public School and graduated from Red Bank High School in 1947. She was employed by Bell Labs and AT&T as a clerk until she retired after 20 years of service.She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Herbert M. Douglas; her son, Herbert M. Douglas, Jr.; 3 sisters and 1 brother.She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Joyce Douglas, Red Bank; Jackie Jackson; Warren Frost, Lakewood, NJ; Charles Frost, Beaufort, SC; James Mott, Myrtle Beach, SC; Marc Douglas(Orlando, FL); and Karen Douglas, CT; one sister, Mildred Tyler, NC; and a host of relatives and friends.Viewing for Mrs. Douglas will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church, Red Bank, NJ. O.E.S. services will begin at 6:30 P.M. and the funeral service will begin at 7:00 P.M. Rev. Kenneth McGhee, Jr will officiate. Interment will be private.
