We mourn the passing of Edubijes ‘Dubi’ Gustavo Hernandez, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who was born on October 3, 1973 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. He was the son of Robert ‘Butch’ Zembal and Mary Alice Zembal.

Edubijes lived a fulfilling life filled with love, laughter, and memorable adventures. He studied at St. Bernard’s High School.

After graduating, Edubijes pursued a career as a barber, where he showcased his creativity and passion for the craft. His clients always left the barbershop feeling confident and rejuvenated.

Outside of work, Edubijes enjoyed hiking, being outdoors, and spending quality time with his family and friends. His infectious smile and positive energy brightened the lives of all who knew him.

On July 23, 2024, Edubijes passed away unexpectedly, leaving a void in the hearts of those who loved him. Though he had no children of his own, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty.

Edubijes will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of nature he cherished so deeply.
