Joseph , Edward C.Edward C. Joseph of Trumansburg passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, May 15, 2017.Edward was born on March 6, 1937 in Ithaca. From 1970 to 1995 he proudly owned and operated Eddie's Super Service in Ithaca. For the past 60 years Eddie's passion in life was playing softball. He played in several leagues travelling all over the country, playing in his final season last summer. Eddie was very particular about his lawn and enjoyed spending time on his mower taking care of his property. An avid gambler and card player, he visited casinos in New York, Atlantic City, and Las Vegas. Enjoying life to the fullest the last year and throughout his entire life, Eddie spent time with family and friends daily making memories that will be cherished forever. Eddie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Priscilla Joseph; four children, Deborah (Gene) Coyle, David (Sherrie) Joseph, Douglas (Carolyn) Joseph, and Daniel (Laurie) Joseph; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; feline companion, Tig; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Elsie Gould; and siblings, William Joseph, Robert Joseph, Beverly Knettles, and Tom Joseph.
