Edward T. CampbellWappingers Falls (formerly of Yonkers) - Edward T. Campbell, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls formerly of Yonkers died on Thursday September 28, 2017 at Wingate @ Beacon. He was 77 years old. He was born on September 1, 1940 to Edward and Rosemary Kelly Campbell in Yonkers where he was raised and educated. Mr. Campbell was a professional musician for fifty six years. He was a member of musician Locals 402 and 38 and worked and performed at various locations including the White Plains Hotel, Tavern on the Green and Jim Barberie's in Danbury, Ct. He was also a member of Local 456 in Elmsford from 1986 to 2008. He loved his music and also loved to play golf. On April 9, 1972, he married his loving wife Alice White in St. John the Baptist Church in Yonkers. Mrs. Campbell survives and lives in Wappingers Falls. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Todd Campbell and his wife Julie of Walkill, N.Y. and Douglas Campbell and his wife Lizz of Westbury, N.Y., one daughter, Leslie Vento and her husband Michael of Chester, NY, two brothers, Andrew Campbell of Palm City, FL. and Michael Campbell of Briarcliff Manor and two sisters, Margaret Mary DelBene of Wappingers Falls and Sheila Fawley of New Fairfield, CT. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Camryn, Cali, Ryan, Landon, Rory, Frances, Charles and William. He was predeceased by a sister, Rosemary D'Aprile. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, Yonkers, on Tuesday 4-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, Yonkers, on Wednesday October 4th at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery.
