Edward Roy, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024, in his home in North Montgomery, Alabama, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 14, 1954, to John and Diane Roy, Edward lived a life filled with laughter, love, and adventure. He married the love of his life, Theresa Roy, in 1982, and together they raised their daughter Alma.
Edward was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and passion for fishing. He could often be found on the banks of the Alabama River, reeling in the biggest catch of the day.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on through his daughter Alma and his five adoring grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Edward's honor.
Rest in peace, Edward Roy, you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
