Edward "L.A. Eddie" J. GonzalesEdward "L.A. Eddie" J. Gonzales, 70, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at his residence.He was born on Sept. 18, 1946, to the late Manuel and Manuelita (Rodriquez) Gonzales in Los Angeles, Calif. He was educated in Playa del Rey, Calif.On March 8, 1966, he entered the US Navy. He served during Vietnam and was honorably discharged on Nov. 21, 1971.Eddie was a mail carrier in Kenosha for many years. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan.Eddie is survived by his children, Richard (Aaron) Gonzales of Kenosha, Chearmy Gonzales of Bullhead, Ariz., Kristi (James) Hinson of Kenosha, Autumn Webb of Kenosha, Robert Webb of Wyoming; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Lou (Floyd) Higgins of Los Angeles, Calif., and Debbie (David) Zito of Long Beach, Calif. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his brothers, Octavio and Manny.Funeral Services for Eddie will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 1 p.m. at Bruch Funeral Home with Full Military Honors to follow. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
