It is with heavy hearts but fond memories that we announce the passing of Edward Roloson, a truly extraordinary individual who graced this world from January 1, 1950, to October 10, 2023. Edward, lovingly known as Eddie, resided in the charming town of Orillia, Ontario, Canada, where he touched the lives of many.

From an early age, Eddie exhibited an insatiable curiosity and zest for life. His boundless energy and mischievous spirit were a constant source of joy for those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. Whether he was cracking jokes, pulling pranks, or delighting everyone with his infectious laughter, Eddie had an uncanny ability to brighten any room he entered.

Eddie was a man of many talents and passions. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of classic rock music, often dazzling friends and family with impromptu renditions of their favorite hits. He lived for outdoor adventures, spending countless hours hiking, fishing, and exploring the breathtaking Canadian wilderness.

Being an avid sports enthusiast, Eddie's passion for ice hockey was unmatched. He was a regular attendee at local games, always exuding an undeniable sense of team spirit. Of course, Eddie was known for his unique style on the ice, as his legendary "rolly-polly" maneuver never failed to entertain the crowd—more laughter, less scoring!

In addition to his playful nature, Eddie had a heart of gold. He took great pleasure in helping others and believed in the power of kindness. Whether it was volunteering at the local animal shelter or lending a helping hand to a neighbor in need, Eddie lived by the motto, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Eddie's jovial personality and infectious charm will be greatly missed by his loving family, including his devoted wife, three children, adorable grandchildren, and a wide circle of friends who were blessed to have shared in his adventures through life.

Although we mourn his loss, we find solace in the memories we hold dear. Let these memories be a reminder that life is meant to be cherished, celebrated, and filled with laughter. So, raise a glass, tell a joke, and keep the spirit of Eddie Roloson alive in your hearts forever.

In honor of Eddie's love for nature, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation, a cause close to his heart.
