Edward NalepaMarysville, OHEdward Nalepa, 92, died peacefully in his Marysville, Ohio home on October 20, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was a proud veteran of World War II, where he served honorably in the United States Army. After the war, he worked at Copperweld Steel Mill, in Warren, Ohio, retiring after 27 years.Edward was born on December 19, 1924 in Poland, Ohio to John and Stefhania (Warchuck) Nalepa. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Edith (Wolz) Nalepa, his four children: Anne (Rod) Sprague of Bristolville, Ohio, Paul (Marian) Nalepa of Boardman, Ohio, Mark (Melanie) Nalepa of Green, Ohio, David (Patty) Nalepa of Marysville, Ohio, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.The Nalepa family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and caring staff of Carriage Court Assisted Living and to Loving Care Hospice for the comfort and care they provided during our time of need.In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Loving Care Hospice of Marysville in memory of Edward Nalepa at http://www.lovingcare.us/donate.html.A private family service will be held with interment at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Ohio.
