Clarence Edward Wilburn IIMILLBURY: Clarence Edward Wilburn II, 58, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at , Toledo.Clarence was born on February 27, 1959 in Oregon, Ohio to the late Clarence and Lucille (Davis) Wilburn. Clarence was raised in Elmore, Ohio and graduated from Woodmore High School in 1977. He worked for Mobile Medic as a paramedic for 29 years. Clarence married Debra Lenz in 1983 and were happily married for 33 years. Clarence was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Lake Township Fire Association, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Millbury Village Council. He was a former member of the Lake Township Fire Department serving as Assistant Chief and on the Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT). While a member of DMAT, Clarence traveled to assist at Hurricanes' Andrew, Francis, Katrina, and Rita. Clarence also assisted in Guam and at Ground Zero following the 9-11 terrorist attacks. He enjoyed card playing, gambling, telling jokes, fishing, mowing the lawn, spending time with his grandchildren, raising money for charity, organizing fundraisers, and comforting others in times of need and loss.Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy Stephany; brother in-law Terry Schlipf; niece, Jenny Goetz; and nephew, Corey Wilburn. He is survived by his wife Debra; daughter Mandy Johnson, son Adam Wilburn; siblings, Sharon (Fred) Wepler, Linda Schlipf, Cheryl Harris, Terry (William) Floro, Rebecca Wilburn, and Jim (Dawn) Wilburn; grandchildren Jaeden, Carter, Christian, and Jionna Johnson; brother-in-law, Greg Stephany; along with and many nieces and nephews and his beloved furry friend, Tino.The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road ( east of I-280) on Saturday, July 8, 2017 and Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11:00 am in St. John's UnitedChurch of Christ, 448 Rice St., Elmore, Ohio, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. Bereavement luncheon will take place at Harris-Elmore Fire Station. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to , 800 S. Detroit Ave., Toledo, Ohio, Harris-Elmore Fire Department, 321 Rice St., Elmore, Ohio, and Lake Township Fire Department, 1911 Ayers Rd., Millbury, Ohio.
