Glisczinski , Edwina LEdwina L. Glisczinski (née Rzentkowski), age 96 of Menasha, died peacefully with grace and dignity surrounded by family on April 14, 2017. She was born on October 27, 1920, in Portage Co., daughter of the late Julius and Regina Rzentkowski (née Ostrowski). She married Edward Glisczinski on September 1, 1945 at St. Mary of Carmel in Fancher, WI. Together they celebrated 61 years of marriage. After being briefly employed, Edwina spent her years being a loving mom and homemaker. Edwina always had a strong faith and was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha.She is survived by her five children: Marlene Straubel, Bob (Sue), Ken (Bets), Don (Barb), Jeff (Mary), eight grandchildren: Nathan (Suzie) Straubel, Jamie (Nicole), Nick, Adam, Anna (Kyle) Porter, Joel, Ian and Seth. Edwina is further survived by five great grandchildren: Molly, Josephine, Sullivan, Cavanagh and Max as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Edwina was preceded in death by her husband Edward, three brothers, one sister, and several brother and sister-in-laws.Edwina had a witty sense of humor that will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a kind, compassionate and generous soul whose greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.Visitation for Edwina will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home, 1140 Appleton Road, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary Service. Visitation will continue at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 528 Second Street, Menasha with Rev. Jim Hablewitz officiating.
