Eileen was a loving wife, mother of 5 beautiful children (Charmaine, Rohan, Mark, David, and Sarah) and grandmother of 10 amazing young men and women (Nia, Karl, Jasmine, Brittany, Kardel, Kimori, Jaden, Mia, Shawn, and Brian).
From a young age, Eileen always wanted to have a big family and explore the world. She always reminded her children to follow their dreams and walk in the light of the Lord!
Her faith and determination carried her family out of poverty and eventually to New York City, where she settled after her devoted husband, Roy passed on in the war.
Battling breast cancer and diabetes most of her adult life, the last couple of years took a toll on Eileen and her family. The last month was exceptionally harder for her children to come to terms with her going to be with the Lord sooner rather than later. But she always said, “God has a plan for me and for all of you, don’t doubt him!”
Eileen was an amazing woman and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is dearly missed every single day! But Jesus got his angel back and we have another angel watching over us!
You can to the family or in memory of Eileen Reid.

It is comforting to know that the God of all comfort will completely remove all grief at the time of the earthly resurrection. The Bible at John 5:28,29 comforts us with the words, Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out . God promises that he will do away with death forever, and God will wipe the tears from all faces. Isaiah 25:8
