RAYElaine A.Elaine A. Ray, age 70, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Swanton Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 10, 1946, to George J. Ray and Leona Benore in Toledo. She retired from Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after 40 years of service in the dietary department. Elaine was a devout Catholic and had strong faith, she was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Church. She loved Elvis Presley music and had the opportunity to visit Graceland. In her spare time she enjoyed garage sales, collecting angels, word search puzzles and she cherished the time spent with her nephews and nieces.Left to cherish her memory are her brother, George (Cathy) Ray; nephews, John, George and Joseph (Wendy); great-nieces and nephew, Brittani (Tim), Kelsey, Ashley and Kyle; great-great-niece and nephew, Paisley and Holden; dear friend, Rosemary LaScola and caregivers, Marsha Cherry and Nadine Holtz.The family will receive guests on Friday, December 2, 2016, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4555 N. Haven Ave., Toledo, OH 43612 from 9-10:00 a.m. in the narthex of the church. Her Memorial Mass will begin in the church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Francis J. Speier officiating.
