Elaine L. Huff1923 - 2015Praise and Thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Lord Holy Spirit for the life of Elaine Huff. Elaine L. Huff of Stanley, Wis., formerly of Kenosha, Wis., passed away on June 26, 2015, at Our Lady of Victory Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on Dec. 12, 1923, to William and Alma Piehl. Elaine married Earl Huff in 1944 and had seven children and one stepson. She was widowed at 42 years old and raised her children while going back to work. She held numerous jobs such as working at American Brass, where she later retired. Elaine has been a member of the Remnant Church of God for 38 years where she greatly loved and was greatly loved by her church family. John 13:35 – By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Her greatest joy was worshiping her Lord and Savior with her church family. She enjoyed helping her mother cater weddings and parties in her younger years. She enjoyed picnics with her family and friends. She also loved to cook. She was a very special lady to all of those who knew her.Survived by her sister, Geraldine Hornickle; her children, Kathy (Cliff) Bell, Roger (Robin) Huff, Nancy (Lee) Ryshkus, Debra (Rich) Wierzbicki, Gary Huff and Lisa Huff. Elaine lived with Lisa and was cared for by her for the past six years. She also is survived by 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, Delores, her husband Earl, a son, Roy; daughter-in-law, Cheryl and a brother in-law, Richard.Funeral services will be on Friday, July 3, 2015, at the Remnant Church of God, 250 East 10th Ave.-Stanley. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery-Stanley. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Plombon Funeral Home. No visitation Friday. Thank you to our Pastor Tetzlaff and Pastor Clausi and all of the members of the Remnant Church of God for all of your love, support and prayers. Thank you to all of her caregivers who helped make it possible to keep her at home, Mary Stauch, Amy Huff, Carla Douglas, Amanda Huff and Aaron Huff. And those extra helpers, Michelle Huff, Jake Huff and Christina Dahl and all of the staff at Our Lady of Victory Hospital.
