Elbert G. Walton Sr. the son of Jerome M. Walton and the late Elloree J. Walton was born on July 5, 1952. On Friday, June 22, 2018, God's faithful servant was peacefully called to rest.

Elbert grew up in East Baltimore and was loved wherever he went. He received his education and high school diploma from Patterson High School. He was affectionately called "Al" by his family and friends. Elbert was known for his big smile and he was full of life. He was a loving man and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Elbert gave his life to Christ at an early age at Mt Zion Church of God in Christ. He was previously employed at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Elloree J. Walton and his granddaughter, Cierra Smith.

Elbert leaves to cherish his memories his father Jerome M. Walton, his son Elbert Walton Jr, and his daughter Shalanda Corbin. Four grandkids; Deztinie Walton, Donta Walton, Tierra Corbin, and Jasmin Corbin. One sister, Patricia Jones of Charlotte, North Carolina. Four aunts and one proceeded in death, 2 uncles and three proceeded in death. Five nieces and nephews: Ashley, Tiffany, Troy, Camille, and Joy. Seven great nieces and nephews. Two special friends Sheila Bland and Jamal Jones and a host of other family members and close dear friends.
